A dream that refused to leave.
As a teenager, I told my best friend PJ that I wanted to own a bakery someday. We actually started a little chinchin business together. Then she got admission into university, and that chapter came to an end.
The business stopped, but the dream didn't.
I spent more than five years second-guessing myself. I didn't think I had the skills, the money or the time. Then one night I made up my mind and said, “I'll start and figure it out along the way.”
On 31 July 2025, I launched Biba's Treats with ₦110,000, in the middle of self-doubt and fear. Today I mix, cut, fry and package every batch myself, alongside a full-time job.
Take your dreams to God. Do your part. Keep learning, keep growing, and keep showing up.
Starting small doesn't mean the dream is small. This is only the beginning. Come build with me.
